So Hi Again...
Getting back into writing, flash updates and future direction of this blog
Like most New Years goals this one fizzled out (almost…) but the year isn’t over yet and there is still hope!!
The original intent of this blog/newsletter/digital-readable-thingy was to archive some past writing while finding a direction/theme/vision to center around and I still want to do so.
Since my last post in January we have…
Graduated from university
Travelled to Mexico, Korea and a good chunk of Western Europe (UK, France, Holland, Italy and Switzerland)
Moved to Chicago to start work
And met amazing people with great stories along the way that we are going to hopefully share
So a lot has happened and I’m not really sure how to best update this blog. Also how much I necessarily want to share. But in the words of my friend Olga “we can type these words into the void full of confidence that no one will read them” so in that spirit the next 5-6 (maybe more) posts will be updates of past work / musings on the road.
But in terms of what’s coming next I think I’ve centered on food and me. There will probably be a separate account made centered around interviewing local food culture linked with the Instagram @danny_eatz but this Substack will be a quasi-public/private diary of my mental space.
The 20s are a difficult time. It’s confusing. It’s frustrating. It requires learning what “adulting” is. But! It can also be exhilarating, enthralling, engaging and even more positively connotated words starting with “E”.
So with that we are opening the next chapter of Everything Under the Sun! I would promise a posting schedule but I know myself better than that.
